Red Rose City

Solution: Just like the rose-vine threads itself like a fiber, so does the people of Lancaster, SC. I wanted to show the strength and growth of the people in the identity by embedding some of the city’s history such as the textile industry which is threaded into the identity and pattern created. An identity system was created to highlight not only the Red Rose City itself but each sector as well. Each sector received its own logo that becomes an extension of the main city logo.
